Tasting notes
The 2014 Chardonnay Zio Tony Ranch charges from the glass with exotic fruits, candied peel and peach preserve notes, plus underlying allspice, ginger and brioche hints. Full-bodied with concentrated stone fruit and spice layers, it has a lovely oiliness to the texture and great freshness, finishing long and harmonious.

The 2014 Chardonnay Zio Tony Ranch is another super-impressive wine from Martinelli. Rich, unctuous and super-expressive, the 2014 has it all. Lemon confit, dried flowers, chamomile, orange peel, mint and white pepper give the 2014 its aromatic and flavor signatures. Powerful and enveloping to the core, the 2014 Zio Tony is immensely satisfying, not to mention flat-out delicious.
About the producer

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
