(from declassified Beckstoffer To Kalon and Hopper fruit; like the To Kalon bottling, this was aged in all new Taransaud and Darnajou barrels): Good red-ruby. Slightly high-toned aromas of jammy berries, licorice and sweet oak. The palate shows a pronounced graphite minerality but can't match the To Kalon bottling for depth of fruit or texture. Here the tannins are less refined, giving the finish a slight dryness.

Red-ruby. More red fruits than black on the nose, plus a note of graphite. A more tender and less gripping style than the To-Kalon, with notes of graphite and steak tartare. The tannins here are less refined.
