Bright medium ruby. Highly aromatic nose combines blackberry, violet, minerals and spices. Lovely perfumed fruit and mineral flavors in the mouth. A sappy, food-friendly sangiovese with good density and spine. Finishes firmly tannic, long and subtle. In recent years, this was consistently one of my favorite California sangioveses.
