Vivid ruby-red. High-pitched red berry and cherry aromas are complicated by suggestions of Asian spices, smoky minerals and fresh flowers. Intense redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors pick up zesty mineral and blood orange qualities with air, along with a touch of cola. Blends sweetness and piquancy deftly and finishes with strong cut and persistence. Very nicely balanced and energetic pinot, with zero fat on its bones.
