Tasting notes
Even better is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Herold White Label, mostly Oakville fruit with a touch of Coombsville. Like his other Cabernet Sauvignons it is aged 18-20 months in 100% new oak. This is a deeper, more powerful style of Cabernet Sauvignon exhibiting notes of charcoal, burning embers, blackberry, cassis, licorice and a meaty character. Full-bodied, savory and layered, the hallmark of the 2014 vintage – delicious, early drinkability – is well presented. This should be consumed over the next 10-15+ years.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon White Label offers good brightness and aromatic nuance to play off its intense, inky fruit. Dark plum, black cherry and mocha are some of the many notes that flesh out in this richly-textured, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon from Mark Herold. Approximately 80% of the fruit is from Oakville Ranch, while 20% of the fruit is from Coombsville.
