Tasting notes
Primarily from Oakville, but with some Coombsville fruit, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Herold White Label exhibits a deep purple color and notes of Christmas fruitcake, cedar wood, forest floor and oodles of blackcurrants. It’s intense, rich, full-bodied and a joyous example of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. It should drink well for 20+ years.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon White Label (formerly Herold by Mark Herold) emerges from a collection of sites in Oakville and Coombsville. One of the most overt and exotic wines in the range, the White Label offers tons of textural intensity throughout. Dark red and blue fleshed fruit, lavender, mint and spices flow through to the finish, where silky tannins add to the wine's radiance and sheer appeal. Readers who enjoy extroverted, powerful Cabernets will adore the White Label.
