The 2017 Pinot Noir Costalina is a gorgeous introduction to the Ceritas range. In some years, the Costalina can be quite fruity and forward, but the 2017 is decidedly nervous in feel. Chalk, white flowers, mint, sweet red berry fruit and a touch of whole cluster savoriness add character to this super-expressive Pinot. As is often the case, the Costalina punches above its weight. But it also needs a few years to really shine.
