Tasting notes
90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. 20 months in French oak. Closed nose with tight, furry tannins on the palate and a dense, compressed fruit core. This seems very much in hibernation mode. Manages to convey density without heaviness. Long, elegant floral notes to finish. (RH)

Ripe, sweet, concentrated, long and with plush textures, the wine is forward in style, allowing you to enjoy the licorice, espresso, blackberry, blue fruit and dark cherries that are all over the place. 93 Points
I love the purity of fruit in this red with dark berry, raspberry and fresh mint character. Full body, firm and silky tannins and a long, stylish finish. Very impressive for the vintage. Drink or hold. Best ever from here.
A huge, voluptuous wine, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely gorgeous. In this vintage, the blend includes 10% Cabernet Franc, which seems to add structure and aromatic nuance. The 2012 is going to need time to shed some baby fat, but it is strikingly beautiful, even at this early stage. This voluptuous, racy Cabernet is pure 2012.
