Tasting notes
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a sumptuous, forward Yountville Cabernet endowed with terrific depth. Black cherry, mocha, new leather and licorice are all fused together in a supple, juicy Cabernet that offers tons of near to medium-term appeal. Time in the glass brings out the wine's freshness and nuance, but this remains a fairly overt, open-knit style. The 2014 is sure to find many admirers, as it is virtually impossible to resist.

A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance Malbec and Petit Verdot, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from Keever Vineyards is a rounded, sexy wine that boasts a deep purple color as well as terrific notes of cedary spice, black currants, chocolate and hints of licorice. Raised in 70% new French oak, it has tons of fruit, ripe, polished tannin, and a great finish. Drink it anytime over the coming 10-15 years.
Keever's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is rich, pliant and super-expressive. Sweet red cherry, rose, petal, mint and silky, polished tannins all convey an impression of finesse. The finish is beautifully persistent and subtle. Succulent and finely-knit, the 2014 will drink nicely upon release.
Typical of the vintage, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits loads of upfront fruit, with dark strawberries, black cherries and some currants in a charming, lush, seductive, medium to full-bodied style with low acidity. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.
