Tasting notes
The richest and most concentrated in the lineup, and a wine that blew me away, the 2012 Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard offers thrilling notes of crème de cassis, black raspberry and Asian spice to go with a full-bodied, layered, seamless and textured feel on the palate. Nothing is out of place here, it has solid mid-palate depth, and a lively, pure and focused style that keeps you coming back to the glass. Enjoy this beauty anytime over the coming 7-8 years.

Rose petal, mint, white flowers and sweet red berries lift from the glass in the 2012 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard. Interestingly, the Garys' is quite lifted and aromatically expressive even though it is made from fully destemmed fruit. This is one of the more delicate, sensual wines in the Lucia range. The flavors are bright and nicely perfumed throughout.
