Good dark red. Very ripe aromas of black cherry, currant, licorice and leather. Broad, ripe and dry, with black cherry fruit complicated by rocky minerality. Finishes with ripe, broad tannins and a slight dryness. I find this less primary than the Combe d'Orveaux.

(from 75% millerande grapes, according to Clavelier): Dark red with ruby tones. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, elderberry, blackberry and licorice. Intense and firmly built, if a bit less refined than the Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d'Orveaux that preceded it in my tasting. But this is very long and firmly built, conveying a strong impression of solidity and finishing verve.
