Green-gold. Wilder and riper than the Allen, displaying exotic fruits, smoky lees, honey and dried flowers, along with a gentle licorice nuance. Broad and palate-coating but possesses unlikely energy and clarity too, picking up a candied citrus note with aeration. Really clings on the finish, which shows a persistent smokiness and a strong floral quality. Nothing shy about this one.
