Tasting notes
The 2009 Pinot Noir Demuth is another of the more delicate, ethereal wines in this lineup. Dried herbs, crushed flowers, raspberries and cherries are nicely woven together. Despite its richness, the aromas and flavors are a bit forward, which suggests the wine should be enjoyed sooner rather than later.

This line-up from Anthill Farms is very impressive. The Pinots in particular are distinctive and well deserving of serious consideration. Tel. (707) 385-9396
Bright ruby-red. High-pitched, explosively perfumed aromas of red berries, spicecake, incense and herbs. Lively and precise in the mouth, offering gently sweet, expansive strawberry and raspberry flavors, along with star anise and cinnamon nuances. Suave, silky and pure, finishing with outstanding clarity and persistence. This was fermented with 25% whole clusters.
