2014 Del Dotto The David Howell Mountain

There are two wines called “The David.” The 2014 The David Rutherford Estate is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. This wine spends between 16 and 24 months in barrel. In classic Del Dotto style, the wine is opaque purple in color, with big, sexy, delicious, sweet red and black currant fruit, some licorice, toast and coffee bean. It is deep, opulent, round, juicy and ideal for drinking over the next 10-12 years.
