Tasting notes
Aged 28 months in 72% new French oak, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Twisted Oak Vineyard gives up lots of ripe black fruits, leather, leafy herbs, and chocolate-driven aromatics. It's medium to full-bodied and nicely textured, with good mid-palate depth and the slightly more savory tannins of the vintage. This seems smoke-free and should drink well over the coming 7-8 years. Drink 2025-2032.

Ripe dark berries, walnuts, toasted spices, wet stones and iodine on the nose. Full-bodied with firm, grainy tannins and a chalky texture with succulent fruit underneath. A little chewy at the end. Try after 2026.
Less flamboyant than the previous vintage, John Anthony's 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon delivers reined-in notes of cassis and blueberries framed by hints of toasted oak and grilled beef. It's medium to full-bodied, velvety and pleasing already, so I see no need to defer gratification.
