Tasting notes
Chateau Boswell's 2012 Chardonnay True Course is rich, powerful and voluptuous. Apricot pit, mint, peach and butter meld together in a racy, layered Chardonnay built on pure texture. More exotic notes of honey and white truffle develop in the glass, adding to the wine's considerable appeal. This exceptionally beautiful, opulent Chardonnay is one of the best wines I have tasted from Chateau Boswell in some time. The True Course is a selection of the estate's best barrels from Ritchie and Dutton.

Their top cuvée is the prodigious 2012 Chardonnay True Course, which comes from the Old Wente and Robert Young clones. Five barrels (125 cases) were produced. The nose offers up copious aromas of tangerine oil, apple and lemon blossoms, white peach and honeysuckle. This full-bodied, multidimensional Chardonnay should drink well for a decade or more.
