Tasting notes
The 2013 Chardonnay True Course is deep, powerful and viscous. Apricot, peach, mint, spice, orange blossom flesh out in a cool, refreshing Chardonnay that brings together richness and intensity. A dash of white pepper adds an attractive top note on the finish. The 2013 is a blend of fruit from Dutton and Ritchie, twp top Sonoma sites.

Boswell's 2013 Chardonnay True Course is fabulous. A blend of fruit from top sites including Ritchie, Rued and the 2013 boasts superb depth and balance from start to finish. Tropical fruit, butter, spice and French oak blossom in a large-scaled, ample Chardonnay that captures the very best qualities in this style. There is so much to admire here. In 2013, the fruit sources are Ritchie, Dutton and Rued.
The most impressive 2013 I tasted is the 2013 Chardonnay True Course, which appears to be nearly equal to the 2012 version, just slightly crisper with even more liquid rocks and stony minerality. Otherwise, it shares the same characteristics as the 2012. Drink 2015-2022.
