Tasting notes
The 2016 Estate Syrah Les Titans has a beautiful cool-climate expression but is packed to the gills with flavor this vintage. The nose offers ripe blueberries, rhubarb, blood orange, stewed black tea leaves and forest floor with touches of fresh menthol and blackberry candy. The palate is medium to full-bodied and loaded with ripe, juicy, nuanced fruit layers supported by a pixelated tannic frame and great freshness. This is bold but elegant, powerful but still light on its feet. 225 cases produced.

Peay's 2016 Syrah Estate Les Titans is utterly magnificent. Black cherry, plum, crème de cassis, graphite, black pepper and licorice marry perfectly with the wine's vertical feel and sense of structure. A super-classic, cool-climate wine, the 2016 Titans dazzles from start to finish. I loved it.
