Score 94/100 · Drink 2018-2030, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Aug 2018
Opaque garnet-brick colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Darius II reveals bold crème de cassis, baked plums, raisin cake and dried mulberries scents with touches of mocha, black olives, mossy bark and tar. Full-bodied, powerfully fruited and oh-so-decadent in the mouth, it has a velvety backbone supporting the generous fruit and finishes with a persistent spicy lift.
