Tasting notes
The 2013 Pinot Noir Calegari Vineyard is bold and juicy to the core, yet also has terrific supporting structure to balance things out. Super-ripe raspberry, rose petal and tobacco notes give the wine its racy, succulent personality. The Calegari fleshes out nicely on the mid-palate and finish, where the wine shows striking vertical depth. This is very nicely done.

As for the 2013 Pinot Noir Calegari Vineyard, this is a deeply hued, dark ruby/purple Pinot Noir. It shows wonderfully sweet raspberry and cherry fruit, some attractive minerality, medium to full body, and outstanding purity and depth. It is another impressive effort from Williams Selyem to drink over the next decade.
