Score 95/100 · Drink 2023-2035, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Oct 2023

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma Valley comes from the Moon Mountain District (64%) and Sonoma Valley (36%), and was matured in 100% new oak for 22 months. It has very complex aromas, segueing from Morello cherry to iodine, sagebrush, tobacco leaves and cast iron—it strikes a beautiful balance between youthful fruit and notes of maturity. The full-bodied palate is restrained and mineral-driven. It features clay-textured tannins and a fan of floral notes that opens on the long finish. It's drinking beautifully now and will continue to mature gracefully over the next decade. 1,260 cases were made.
