Score 95/100 · Drink 2016-2036, Robert Parker, Dec 2016

Its bigger sister, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a gorgeous wine with exceptional purity and ripeness, a dense ruby/purple color, and a gorgeous nose of blueberry, blackberry and cassis. Throw in a few floral characteristics, an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel, stunning length and overall equilibrium and you have a great Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20+ years. This is a beauty and a sensual wine.

Score 90/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2016

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is one of the most flamboyant, opulent wines readers will find in this vintage. Inky red and purplish fruit, sweet spice, chocolate, vanillin and raspberry jam all give the 2014 its unctuous, silky personality. Best of all, the 2014 will drink well upon release.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate offers lovely depth, but today the new oak is a bit dominant and the wine comes across as unfocused and not fully formed just yet. It will be interesting to see where things stand a year from now.
