Score 91/100 · Drink 2015-2030, Robert Parker, Jun 2015

This vineyard is managed by superstar viticulturalist David Abreu. The results are a delicious, complex 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine was aged 20 months in French oak, of which about 40% was new. No shy wine at 14.8% alcohol, it does not show a trace of heat, but does have copious quantities of plum, blackcurrant and blackberry fruit with a hint of spring flowers and underlying minerality. It is medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, and seems to combine both power and elegance. Just reaching full maturity, it will hold for another 12-15 years. Tel. (707) 942-0467
