Tasting notes
45% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Sauvignon Musqué, 20% Sémillon. Fruit sourced from Ryan’s Vineyard in Oak Knoll and Rancho Pequeño in Oakville. Medium lemon in colour. Chalk and chive-blossom nose with a touch of vanilla and the start of tertiary development expressed as a note of tangerine caramel. Lightly bitter, refreshing pomelo and tangerine pith and fresh acidity on the palate. Notes of unroasted hazelnuts evolve on the finish. This is in a lovely spot. (SCJ)

80% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Sémillon. Made by Françoise Peschon for the Araujo family. Fresh stone fruits lift from the glass, followed by pithy citrus and integrated spice. There is a fresh and pleasing elegance and a silken, persistent mouthfeel. Notes of white fig mix with white nectarine and grapefruit with the fruits well balanced by a lightly bitter accent that makes the mouth water and brings an overarching sense of freshness. A nice use of Sémillon to bring fullness to the mid palate while retaining elegance. This is a lovely wine, and will likely gain even more depth with more time in bottle. (ECB)
The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is such a distinctive wine. As always, the Sauvignon here is a wine of phenolic intensity, yet it retains tons of brightness, verve and varietal character. This is an especially fine vintage for the Accendo Sauvignon Blanc. Don't miss it.
A blend of 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Sauvignon Musque and 20% Semillon, the 2020 Sauvignon Blanc needs a little coaxing to reveal fragrant notes of white peaches, lime leaves, pea pods and green apples with hints of wet pebbles and elderflower. The medium-bodied palate reveals a satiny texture with a lively backbone and long, savory finish. 580 cases were made.
