Tasting notes
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Dark-toned fruit, kirsch, leather, spice, worn-in leather and strong French oak notes all show the patina of age. Although still quite potent, the 2015 is starting to show its wear. I would prefer to drink it sooner rather than later.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is wonderfully lush, powerful and sensual in the glass. Succulent dark cherry, mocha, plum, new leather and licorice infuse this voluptuous, racy Cabernet Sauvignon. The flavors are dark and intense, and yet there is a good deal of freshness and aromatic nuance that play off some of the riper elements. Best of all, the 2015 will drink well with minimal cellaring. The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% each of Malbec and Petit Verdot, and 2% Malbec) is a classic effort that has plenty of black fruits, charcoal, black licorice, and smoked earth aromas and flavors. This black, earthy, rich, full-bodied, and concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon will last for 15+ years.
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is deep purple-black in color with an intense cassis and black berries nose with hints of dried herbs, underbrush and Sichuan pepper plus a waft of cloves. Full-bodied, youthful and packed with juicy black fruits and grainy tannins, it has an herbal finish.
