(80% cabernet sauvignon with 10% each cabernet franc and merlot; 100% new oak): Good bright ruby-red. Blueberry, cocoa powder, licorice, graphite and sexy oak on the nose. Dense, pure and concentrated, with impressive creamy depth to the flavors of candied blackberry, cherry and minerals. Not hugely complex but a big, lush, nicely balanced mouthful showing some sexy Darnajou oak tones.
