Ripe plums, cassis, tobacco, and chalky minerality all define the aromatics, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, beautiful tannins, and a rich, concentrated, yet surprisingly graceful and balanced style. This big, sexy, hedonistic bomb of a wine should evolve for 15 years or more.
A rich yet perfumed nose, full of blackberries, dark chocolate, violets and some pencil lead. A round, concentrated and juicy palate, with volume and fullness and plenty of blackberries to load the firm tannins. Drink or hold.
