Score 90-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2005

Bright, deep red-ruby. Lively aromas of black cherry, minerals, chocolate and mint; cooler and less evolved than the Cailles. Subtle, juicy and classy, showing grand cru palate presence and finesse. These is the least 2003-like in style of these wines today. Subtle, slow-mounting, very long finish features late-arriving, very smooth tannins.
