Tasting notes
The 2016 Syrah Las Colinas sees a solid chunk of stems (31%) and is brought up all in neutral oak, This ruby/purple-hued effort offers a Côte Rôtie-like vibe in its floral, bacon fat, violet, and both black and blue fruited style. It's elegant, seamless, very pretty and pure, and beautifully balanced, with loads of exotic characteristics, fine tannins, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming decade.

The 2016 Syrah Las Colinas is just as striking from bottle as it was from barrel. Deep and layered yet also light on its feet, Las Colinas is super-expressive today. Floral and savory whole cluster overtones add brightness as this mid-weight, vibrant Syrah shows off its considerable personality. There is so much to like. Polished and nuanced to the core, the Las Colinas is all class.
The 2016 Syrah Las Colinas is gorgeous. Deep, sumptuous and beautifully layered, the 2016 is all class. Deep layers of red/purplish fruit, rose petal, lavender, spice and menthol infuse this sumptuous, resonant Syrah. All the elements fall into place in an effortless, impeccable wine endowed with tons of purity and myriad shades of nuance. This is such a beautiful wine. Fruit sources are Dusty Lane and Harrison Grade.
