2017 Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy Gevrey-Chambertin Les Champeaux 1er Cru

The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Champeaux wafts from the glass with a deep bouquet of sweet berry fruit, plums, licorice, rich soil tones and woodsmoke. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, with lively acids, fine depth at the core and a penetrating finish. As usual, this is one of the portfolio's high points.
