Another gorgeous white, the 2014 On The White Keys is rich and lush on the palate, with a real sense of textural creaminess. Hints of sage, mint, apricot, chamomile and wild flowers add nuance throughout. This is a very pretty and highly expressive vintage of On The White Keys.

The 2014 On The White Keys Artists' Reserve is rich, creamy and expressive. The higher percentage of Semillon adds breadth, but like the straight On The White Keys, the Reserve stands out for its textural richness and depth. In 2014, I don't find the two whites meaningfully more different. If anything, the Reserve is a bit heavier.
A relatively powerful (15.5% alcohol) blend of 87% Sauvignon Blanc and 13% Semillon, the 2014 On The White Keys was aged in a combination of new French, neutral French and stainless steel for 12 months prior to bottling. Loads of melony fruit, white currants, quince, and caramelized fig are all present in this beautiful wine, which shows a subtle touch of oak. Powerful and authoritative, this is a beauty to drink over the next several years.
The 2014 On The White Keys is a fabulous wine with which to wrap up this tasting. A captivating interplay of rich, tropically leaning flavors meet Sonoma Mountain intensity in this pedigreed white. Candied lemon peel, mint, apricot jam, spices and almonds are all super-expressive in the glass. Unctuous, oily and generous the 2014 is absolutely gorgeous today.
