Tasting notes
The 2016 On The White Keys is rocking stuff. Loaded with notions of lemon curd, honeyed citrus, brioche, and a kiss of sappy flowers, it’s deep, medium-bodied, and concentrated on the palate, with terrific purity. It should keep for 3-5 years, although there’s no need to delay gratification.

The 2016 On the White Keys Artist's Reserve, Arietta's top white, is terrific. Apricot, chamomile, light honey, mint and a dollop of French oak fill out the wine's generous frame effortlessly. This is an especially powerful, imposing white, and yet all the elements are deftly woven together. The Reserve is 81% Sauvignon Blanc and 19% Sémillon, vinified and aged in French oak.
Arietta's 2016 On The White Keys is gorgeous. Rich and pliant on the palate, with terrific overall depth, the 2016 is super-expressive today. Candied lemon, white flowers, crushed rocks and a hint of reduction shape this very pretty, nuanced Sauvignon Blanc-based white. A dollop of Sémillon rounds out the blend. In this vintage, the Sauvignon Blanc character is quite evident.
