Tasting notes
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Schrader is amazingly perfumed with intense potpourri, Indian spices, fragrant earth and rose hip tea notions over crème de cassis, redcurrant jelly and blueberry tart scents plus a touch of bay leaves. Big, rich and generous in the mouth, it coats the palate with decadent black fruit and plenty of red fruit sparks, with velvety tannins and great freshness, finishing long and layered.
