Tasting notes
Cask sample from this biodynamic producer. Transparent crimson. Discreet nose is followed by an array of red-cherry flavours that manages to be both charming (with lots of fruit) and ambitious (with no shortage of particularly fine tannins that give the impression of smooth leather). Very juicy and pure with fine Chambolle flavour and quite enough freshness. Very fine and persistent. (JR)

Bruno Clavelier is the largest owner with 0.815 ha that adjoin Musigny Grand Cru. Barrel sample. Deep cherry red. Deep and rich in fragrant dark-red fruit. Scented on the palate, too. A light touch has given delicate tannins and lots of freshness. Pure Chambolle pleasure. The fragrance lingers on the long finish. (JH)
