Made from 100% varietal, the 2015 Merlot is a charming, rounded, sexy effort that gives up lots of blackberry and black cherry fruits, aromas of cedar, spice and hints of vanilla oak, and a supple, forward style on the palate ideal for drinking over the coming decade.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Merlot features warm plums, baking spices, dusty earth and licorice notions on the nose with a touch of dusty earth. Full-bodied, softly textured and packed with rich, spicy fruit, it delivers a nice, long plum-laced finish.
PlumpJack's 2015 Merlot is forward and juicy, both qualities that make it a delicious wine to drink pretty much upon release. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender, spice and mint are all pushed forward.
