Tasting notes
Score 87/100 · Drink 2016-2024, Robert Parker, Dec 2016

The 2014 Merlot is a typical soft, juicy wine with notes of cherry, plum, white chocolate and a touch of mocha. It is medium-bodied, pleasant, but largely uninspiring. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.

Score 93/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2016

The 2014 Merlot is a gorgeous wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Expressive, floral aromatics and bright, red-toned fruits are among the signatures. Precise and sculpted throughout, the 2014 offers striking energy and nuance in a mid-weight style that holds considerable appeal.

Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2017-2026, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Oct 2015

The 2014 Merlot is bright, finely sculpted and nuanced, with tons of detail and precision throughout. Sweet red and blue fruits, flowers, mint and licorice are some of the signatures in a poised, energetic Merlot endowed with a real sense of tension. There is plenty to look forward to here.
