2006 Behrens Family Ode to Picasso

(50% cabernet sauvignon, 40% syrah and 10% petit verdot) Good deep ruby-red. Sweet currant, coffee and a tarry nuance on the nose. Then juicy and not at all overly sweet, with a slightly exotic quality to the berry and torrefaction flavors. Finishes with firm, slightly dry tannins that call for a year or two of patience.
