Tasting notes
Delicate citrus-curd aromatics with a sea-fresh lift follow into the palate with light spice accents. The Wingtine carries an allusion of richness without any heaviness, nice palate tension, tons of clarity, and a mouthwatering cascade of flavours with great acidity. (ECB)

The 2013 Chardonnay Wingtine is stunningly beautiful. Rich and voluptuous on the palate - but never heavy - the 2013 is wonderfully vivid throughout. Hints of orange peel, white flowers and brioche are laced in the graphite and mineral-infused finish. The Wingtine emerges from Charles Heintz, one of the very best sites on the Sonoma Coast. Readers who want to understand how exciting a vintage 2013 is for Chardonnay may want to start here. This is a superb effort from Radio-Coteau and proprietor Eric Sussman.
The 2013 Chardonnay Wingtime Vineyard comes from a site owned by Charles Heintz in the Occidental sub-sector of the Sonoma Coast. This is a cool climate area with Goldridge soils. This 2013 reveals a lot of crisp, elegant minerality, caramelized citrus and poached pear characteristics in a medium-bodied, naked style. Drink now-2020.
