Tasting notes
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer George III Vineyard sings of crème de cassis, baked plums and cherry preserves with touches of dried sage, tilled soil, cigar box and camphor. Built like a brick house in the full-bodied mouth with firm, grainy tannins and wonderfully refreshing acid cutting through the rich, concentrated black fruit preserves, it finishes with a compelling herbal lift.
