Score 91/100 · Drink 2005-2020, Robert Parker, Dec 2005
This is a 320- to 500-case cuvee made by talented viticulturist Lisa Behrens, of Behrens and Hitchcock, and Francoise Peschon, the longtime winemaker at Araujo Estate. The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses a similar profile, with slightly less seamlessness compared to the more showy 2002, more structure, and beautifully sweet black currant fruit interspersed with hints of flowers, spice box, forest floor, and bay leaves. This rich, impeccably balanced Cabernet can be drunk young, or cellared for 12-15 years. (Release date Spring 2006) Distributed by Polaner Selections, Tel. (914) 244-0404
