Tasting notes
The 2013 Pinot Noir Hacienda Secoya Vineyard is super-expressive today. Sweet black cherries, mint, lavender, new leather and spices are some of the signatures. Even with all of its delicacy, the 2013 has lovely delineation, depth and nuance. Bright floral notes add lift into the finish.

Another gorgeous wine, the 2013 Pinot Noir Hacienda Secoya Vineyard possesses lovely depth, energy and nuance, with vivid, finely cut flavors and terrific overall delineation. Dark red and purplish-toned fruit, graphite, lavender and spices open up in the glass, supported by firm beams of tannin that give the wine its drive. Today, the 2013 doesn't quite have the sexiness of the 2012, but it is naturally quite young. It will be interesting to see how things develop here. There is a lot to look forward to, that is for sure.
