The 2020 Moulin-à-Vent Champ de Cours comes from granite soils with high percentages of alluvial clay. This has a well-defined bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, the clayey soils perhaps lending this more depth. The palate is medium-bodied, smooth in texture with fine tannins. It's nicely poised with tangerine infusing dark plummy fruit towards the finish, hints of Shezchuan pepper tingling on the aftertaste.

The 2020 Moulin-à-Vent Champ de Cour has turned out beautifully, mingling aromas of red cherries and berries with hints of sweet spices and petals. Medium to full-bodied, lively and charming, with beautifully refined tannins and lively acids, it's well worth seeking out.
