The most rounded and full-bodied of the wines tasted in this vertical, the 2016 Blanc De Blancs is balanced with pastry notes of almond croissant as well as ripe green apple and pear. Supple on the palate, this easy pleasing and highly refined wine is gorgeous.

The 2016 Blanc de Blancs Heintz Vineyard has alluring aromas of white apricot, fresh bread, roasted almonds and flinty streaks. The palate is luxuriously creamy, though it maintains focused acidity. It offers concentrated, savory flavors and a very long, layered finish. In this retrospective of Heintz Vineyard sparkling, the 2016 is the most complete and complex example, reminiscent of Champagne.
