Score 90+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Smoky, stony aromas of lemon oil and ripe citrus fruits; still on its lees and thus in a reduced state today. Fatter and denser than the above, with a leesy complexity and layered texture. Not currently showing its purity, but dense and strong in extract. Long, subtle finishing flavors cling to the palate. Comes across as thoroughly dry. Hard to judge today but offers excellent potential.
