Bright ruby-red. Sexy aromas of red and dark berries, candied rose and Asian spices, with a smoky overtone. Suave, penetrating black raspberry and cherry flavors show excellent depth and power but no excess fat. Becomes spicier and more floral with air and finishes sweet, sappy and very long. This seamless wine is surprisingly approachable now but has the concentration to age.
