Inky dark in color, with layers of ripe, fat, sweet, juicy, lush, dark fruits, a blast of oak and a sweet, ripe, round textured finish with the right amount of licorice and dark chocolate that makes you happy, that the flavors linger. 94 Points

A big and rich wine with loads of fruit and new wood. Full-throttle and powerful but not completely overbearing. Pretty tannin tension at the finish. Give it two or three years to soften.
Another magnificent wine, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully alive and vibrant in the glass. Rich, layered and sumptuous - yet with a wonderful sense of freshness - the 2012 is all about balance. The interplay of intense fruit, aromatics, acidity and tannins is world class. It's as simple as that.
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 19 months in 70% new French oak, represents 480 cases of sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon. Fresh-roasted mocha-infused coffee notes interwoven with blackberry, cassis, blueberry and a touch of white flowers emerge from this opaque purple-colored, full-bodied, velvety smooth and luscious wine. Drink it over the next 15 or more years.
