Tasting notes
The majority of the grapes for the 2022 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard are destemmed and native fermented in concrete and stainless steel, gently extracted to build tannin and structure. This vintage is particularly dense and concentrated though still showing the vineyard’s classic elegance and perfume of wild cherry, raspberry, and violet. The acidity boosts the darker elements of the fruit, dusted in allspice and chaparral. It should drink well another 10-12 years.

Pure aromas of wild raspberries, dark cherries, river stones and spices. The palate is medium-bodied with firmly framed tannins and balanced acidity, giving flavors of citrus peel, violets and potpourri. Spicy and supple, with underlying tension.
