A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Merlot, the medium brick colored 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill Estate Vineyard offers up pronounced raspberry pie, blueberry compote and blackberry tart notes with suggestions of star anise, charcuterie, violets and dried mint plus a waft of tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, it offers a generous amount of spicy berry preserves with a plush texture and a lovely minty lift to the finish.
