Memento Mori's flagship 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon blends five sites to deliver a sumptuous mix of red and black cherries, a hint of cassis and a touch of vanilla. It even seems more fruit-forward than the single-vineyard wines. Medium- to full-bodied, it comes across as almost a bit zesty and perhaps a bit coarse-textured, but it's bright, engaging and showing ample concentration and length. It's probably more like the 2017 than the 2018, 2019 or 2021, just slightly affected by the vintage's unique heatwave.
