Tasting notes
There are approximately 1,000 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed Oakville vineyard called To-Kalon. The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon To-Kalon (virtually 100% Cabernet Sauvignon) displays a dense ruby/purple color, as well as a sweet nose of black currants intermixed with cedar, licorice, toast, and earth. It has lost much of the fat it exhibited last year, and no longer seems as impressive as it once did. A wine of finesse and elegance, it offers much pleasure. Drink it over the next 14-15 years. Tel.
